Honda To Compete Dakar Rally 2013

The coming 2013 Honda has announced of its participation to the 2012 Dakar Rally which will be on January.

Dakar Rally is a racing competiton which started the year 1979. It is formerly known as Paris to Dakar Rally.

The competitors uses race motorbikes, cars and trucks and follows its path to thousands of kilometers to Dakar, the Capital of Senegal and the west part of Africa.



This racing tournament has gained its popularity over the years of rallying. What makes Dakar so famous
about is the tough terrain being used for the rally which vehicles will have to cope with the roads,
mud, camel grass, sand .

With Honda announcing its participation since the last time they had competed which was 23 years ago.
That competiton took place in Europe and Africa. Though there are numerous times wherein Honda had Gold
from the year 1982 and 1989.

Using a prototype race bike CRF450X riders with the likes of Helder Rodrigues, Felipe Zanol, Sam Sunderland and Javier Pizzolito will each command and use it.
